They use programs like TextLinkAds to turn targeted keywords into hyperlinks to an advertiser’s website. When a reader clicks on a link, the advertiser’s website opens in the same window. In other words, the page is “stolen” and your story will disappear!

Breathe! As writers, we spend a lot of time organizing and writing content designed to attract the reader’s attention. Should we really be aware of any distractions?

As a solid internet user, I myself am not a fan of text link advertising. However, as a freelance copywriter, I think they are awesome. Before we explain why, let’s cover some points …

A: Again, I can’t answer this question with permission. But I have a mirror; I think they will be more popular, simply because there are a lot of web publishers who are willing to try programs that offer a return on their investment. Finally, the popularity of text link ads depends on their success with advertisers, not their popularity with users.


Q: Can I prevent this from happening my copy?

A: No. I believe the power belongs only to the publisher. Of course, you can restrict it to your publishing instructions, but it will limit the number of copies of your publications (thus limiting the traffic to your links).

IMHO, the answer, again, is “No! As authors of news publishing, we are interested in Google AdSense design because it creates a search for quality content. The more publishers publish articles, the higher their site rankings, the more traffic they get, and the more money they make from pay-per-click advertising on their site. But my story was stolen! What if the reader does not return? It is undeniable that we would prefer to keep our reader. But most readers know where the “Back” button is, so if your story is good, they’ll be sure to click it. If they do not, at least, you have a permalink on your site and the signature of your report.
