  1. Sweden suspended morality in favor of self preservation no matter what posturing it did as opportunities arose. The simple fact is that some very rich people saw the chance to make massive profits from the Nazis whose war machine needed steel to maintain momentum of conquest and we must consider just how much of modern Sweden's vaunted wealth and liberalism was at the cost of millions of deaths and the betrayal of immediate neighbors.
After Stalingrad the claimed "intelligence" to the western allies so often mentioned was proportionally of little value as the allies could have simply occupied parts of Sweden, overflown the country and landed for fueling anywhere out of reach of the retreating Nazis. In fact intelligence reaching Bletchley Park was mostly from code breaking and from brave resistance groups in occupied nations.
Moving Nazi troops through Sweden from Norway could be seen as a type of war crime but when that happened Germany still might have continued Nazism and Sweden was ready to back a likely winner — especially one boosting its tawdry economy.

  2. Churchill was an idiot in that regard. What profit, what morals? Sweeds did what was necessary to survive the turmoil, morals would've almost certainly brought them death and destruction. If you want to point fingers at faking neturality for profit, good old Uncle Sam is the best example.

  3. Why? Well, almost all European countries declared themselves neutral before the war. Not to be involved during a WW, surrounded by the great powers, indicates strength and not weakness. You just can't chicken out of a WW, because no one would listen. Relying on the help of others is weaker

  4. Well. …"neutral"…whatever that means. When you take a closer look, things are not always what they seem. Sweden assisted Germany during the war to get to Norway so that Norway could be invaded and the Germans could go on to plunder, steal and burn Norwegians homes. I hade relatives who experienced this and passed down what really happened. Sweden is as "neutral" as it takes for them to save their own arse. Much double morals within the country not only when it comes to this. But of course, it looks good to the onlooker who only get to see the glossy painted idea of how great the country is. Most do not have a clue about real history, cause it's simply not told.

  5. Basically, Per Albin Hansson
(Swedish prime minister at the time) didn't want to be involved since you know, it's a world war. And Germany and Sweden were friends before the war and they wanted to stay neutral so they let the Germans go with trains through Sweden. They also sold iron to the Germans which was made into weapons in German factories. And that's why Sweden was neutral in a nutshell.

  6. Sweden cared for its people, the war was started by France and Britain to safeguard the territorial integrity of Poland…. the war ended with millions of people dead, and Poland went from Germany to Russia! Sweden was smart enough not to get in that mess!

  7. I started to admire Sweden more after the Macarona -19 scamdemic, probably they have the best government in the world… the whole cabal of the globalists want to lock people inside their homes.. only Sweden would not go with the plan… probably they recognized that Britain and France were not much better than the Nazis.

  8. You said that women's suffrage and enfranchisement was so insufferable to conservative(s) (men) that they created, embraced or tolerated as much as fascism? How come when any group votes in communism/socialism it's then considered undemocratic or that democratic socialism is (invariably) mutually-exclusive? I don't think so at all.
Overall your interpretations of historical, political, psychological etc. phenomena seems like a slap-dash, slip-shod reckless dismissal of ALL that has been said and done before you and your ilk were born; all you don't like or understand. I believe it to be entirely unacknowledged phenomenal behavior new to your generation, unprecedented in known history and certainly modern times.

  9. The 10:50 map of Germany right after the fall of Poland is wrong, as Biyalystok was taken by the Soviets in the eventual division of Poland. Along with this what is western Ukraine today(excluding Carpathian Ruthenia which at this time was under Hungarian control) around Lwow was also occupied by the Soviets and would only become part of Generalgovernment following Barbarossa
